RAMALLAH, January 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces bulldozed land and uprooted olive trees on Friday in the town of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, according to local sources.
Witnesses reported that Israeli forces stormed the area surrounding the home of the Abu Awwad family, bulldozing agricultural land and uprooting dozens of ancient olive trees.
Israeli occupation authorities have been bulldozing land in the town for the past three months, during which time around 4,000 olive trees have been uprooted, and thousands of dunums of land have been plowed for the benefit of a newly established Israeli outpost west of the town.
