RAMALLAH, January 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces closed the entrances to Nabi Saleh and Aboud villages, located northwest of Ramallah, early on Friday morning, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces sealed the two iron gates placed at the entrances to both villages, preventing residents from entering or leaving the areas.

The closure of these entrances effectively imposes a blockade on nearly 15,000 Palestinians living in the northwestern countryside of the Ramallah district.

The closure of roads and entrances to villages is one of the tactics used by the Israeli occupation army to restrict access to essential services, including medical care, education, and employment, exacerbating the hardships faced by the Palestinian population in the area.
