GAZA, January 1, 2026 (WAFA) – A man died and five others were injured due to burns after a fire broke out on Thursday in a tent housing a displaced family in Gaza City.
According to WAFA correspondent, the fire erupted inside one of the displacement tents in the Yarmouk Stadium camp, causing the death of one individual and injuring five others.
Additionally, a child, Malak Rami Ghneim, who was living in a displaced family’s tent in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, passed away due to severe cold from the ongoing winter storm affecting the region.
