NABLUS, January 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Two Palestinian men were wounded by Israeli gunfire early Thursday morning in the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus.

The head of the Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya village council, Yaqoub Awais, said that the two young men were shot by Israeli forces while at the village entrance on the main road between Ramallah and Nablus. One of them was in critical condition and was transferred to a hospital inside the 1948 territories.

He added that the second wounded man was shot four times while attempting to rescue the first  He was later rushed to Salfit Hospital, where his condition was reported as stable.
