Israeli colonists attack Bedouin community northeast of occupied Jerusalem

JERUSALEM, December 30, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked a Bedouin community in the town of Mikhmas, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, early Tuesday morning, assaulting residents and damaging properties.

According to the Jerusalem Governorate, over 20 colonists stormed the Khirbet al-Sidra Bedouin community, attacking residents with clubs, stones, pepper spray, and iron pipes. The assault left several residents wounded, suffering varying wounds and bruises.

The Governorate added that several homes were damaged after being pelted with  stones and sprayed with pepper gas inside, while a vehicle belonging to a solidarity activist present in the area was also destroyed. These attacks are part of a systematic campaign of intimidation and aggression against Bedouin communities.

During the attack, colonists also destroyed solar panels belonging to residents, directly targeting the community's electricity supply and infrastructure. This is part of an ongoing campaign of attacks aimed at pressuring residents and forcibly displacing them from their land.
