JERUSALEM, December 29, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists Monday night attacked the Khallat al-Sidra Bedouin community near the town of Mukhmas, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that colonists raided the community and chopped down several olive trees in its surroundings, noting that vehicles carrying more than 15 colonists broke into the area, creating a state of heightened tension among residents.
A group of colonists had also attacked the community on Sunday evening, stealing solar-powered lighting units. At dawn on Monday, colonists blocked the only road connecting the community to the town of Mukhmas with dirt and stones, as part of ongoing and escalating measures aimed at tightening the noose on residents and forcing them to leave their homes.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.
The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned.
Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
