JORDAN VALLEY, December 28, 2025 (WAFA) – The continued rainfall associated with the low-pressure system affecting Palestine has further wormseed the already difficult living conditions for residents of the Bedouin encampments in the northern Jordan Valley.
This weather system coincides with the lack of basic infrastructure in the Palestinian villages and communities scattered throughout the northern Jordan Valley, a consequence of the Israeli occupation's prevention of their construction and provision.
Residents from several villages told WAFA in phone interviews that persistent rainfall has made movement difficult due to the absence of paved roads and streets.
They added that livestock herders have been unable to access available grazing lands near their tents, as colonists continue to seize thousands of dunams of grazing land.
