SALFIT, December 25, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces uprooted dozens of olive trees on Thursday in the northwestern part of Deir Ballut, west of Salfit.
Local sources told WAFA that Israeli bulldozers stormed agricultural land in the area known as Wadi Awad and began bulldozing and uprooting olive trees, aged 10-15 years, belonging to several residents of the town. This caused significant damage to the agricultural land and the livelihoods of the local population.
On Wednesday, Israeli troops razed a Palestinian-owned land and uprooted dozens of olive trees in the Al-Masrara roundabout area of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit.
The soldiers also uprooted approximately 70 mature olive trees at the entrance to Kafr Haris, further north, in an effort to expand settlement activity.
