Israeli forces raid northern West Bank city

TUBAS, December 23, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening raided Tubas in the northern occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

They said that a convoy of Israeli army vehicles stormed the city and infantry soldiers deployed across several neighborhoods.

They added that the occupation forces withdrew afterwards, without leaving any casualties or detaining anyone.

Meanwhile, the sources confirmed a similar raid in Turmus Ayya town, north of Ramallah, where the gun-toting soldiers unleashed barrages of tear gas canisters.

There was no immediate information on any casualties.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
