TULKAREM, December 22, 2025 (WAFA) - Israeli military vehicles intensified their presence and imposed strict measures in the center of Tulkarm city on Monday evening, marking the 330th day of the ongoing military campaign targeting the city and its two refugee camps.
According to WAFA correspondent, Israeli forces stormed central Tulkarm with several military vehicles and deployed in the vicinity of Thabet Thabet Square and Jamal Abdel Nasser Square, stopping vehicles, checking citizens’ identities, and patrolling the city’s main streets, causing traffic congestion.
The military operations also extended to the Shuweika suburb north of Tulkarm, where Israeli forces deployed along the eastern street amid a heavy presence of soldiers who stopped and searched passing vehicles.
In a related development, Israeli forces stormed the towns of Anabta and Kafr al-Labad to the east of Tulkarm on Monday evening. During the raid on Kafr al-Labad, soldiers raided several commercial shops and seized surveillance camera recordings.
This coincided with the firing of live ammunition and sound bombs toward citizens; however, no injuries or detentions were reported.
Additionally, Israeli forces detained a former prisoner from the town of Anabta while passing through a military checkpoint near the city of Qalqilya.
