RAMALLAH, December 22, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces, on Monday, issued demolition orders for six under-construction homes in the town of Tarqumiya, west of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank.
Journalist Omar Fatafta told WAFA correspondent that Israeli forces raided the Shaab Al-Bir area in Tarqumiya and handed demolition notices for six multi-storey homes owned by several Palestinian residents, despite their possession of official documents proving ownership of the land and homes.
The threatened homes are located several kilometers from the Telem and Adora colonial settlements, illegally built on Palestinian lands and property in Tarqumiya.
The homeowners urged international human rights and humanitarian organizations to intervene immediately to stop the actions of the occupation forces and colonists, who aim to displace residents from their homes and lands to facilitate settlement expansion.
