HEBRON, December 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Dozens of Israeli colonists, backed by Israeli forces, stormed on Sunday night the archaeological site of al-Tabaqa in the town of Halhul, north of Hebron, according to local and security sources.
Sources said that colonists stormed the site and performed Talmudic rituals there, in the presence of Jewish officials and religious figures, amid a wide deployment of occupation forces.
Israeli forces imposed tight security measures in the surrounding area, closed roads leading to the site, and prevented citizens’ movement.
