JENIN, December 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, stormed on Sunday evening the site of an evacuated colonial settlement outpost south of Jenin Governorate, according to local sources.

Sources said that buses carrying colonists, escorted by Israeli soldiers and military vehicles, stormed the site of an evacuated colonial settlement outpost, known as the former Sanur colony, near the town of Jaba’, south of Jenin, which was evacuated in 2005, in preparation for marking the so-called Hanukkah holiday.

Israeli occupation authorities approved last May the establishment of 22 new colonies in the occupied Palestinian Territory, including the re-establishment of the Homesh and Tarsala–Sanur colonies in Jenin Governorate.
