GAZA, December 19, 2025 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces launched a series of airstrikes early Friday morning targeting the southern Gaza Strip, including the cities of Khan Younis and Rafah.
Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes bombed the Bani Suheila town east of Khan Younis, while firing heavy machine-gun fire toward the eastern parts of the city, in parallel with artillery shelling. Israeli naval boats also opened intensive fire in the waters off the coast of Khan Younis.
In Rafah, Israeli naval vessels fired their machine guns at fishing boats sailing close to the shore. No injuries were reported.
These attacks come as part of ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which has been in effect since October 10, amid continued military assaults on civilian areas across the Strip.
