GAZA, December 18, 2025 (WAFA) – Medical sources announced today that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 70,669, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023.

The same sources explained that the number of injuries has risen to 171,165 since the start of the offensive, while a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue teams.

They indicated that one person was killed and 13 others were injured and taken to Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours. The total number of fatalities and injuries since the ceasefire agreement on October 11 has reached 395, while 1,088 others were wounded, with 634 bodies recovered.

Medical sources announced that the number of fatalities taken to hospitals due to the severe cold snap and low temperatures in the Gaza Strip has risen to 13.
