RAMALLAH, December 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Italian Chamber of Deputies Speaker Lorenzo Fontana, affirmed his support for recognizing the state of Palestine.
In a statement published by the Italian news agency ANSA, Fontana called for this recognition to be pursued with credible interlocutors, including President Mahmoud Abbas, and within the framework of the necessary international guarantees.
