NABLUS, December 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Four Palestinian young men were injured by Israeli gunfire during a raid on the city of Nablus on Wednesday.
The director of the Palestinian Red Crescent's Emergency and Ambulance Center in Nablus, Amjad Ahmad, said that ambulance crews treated four people for gunshot wounds sustained during the raid.
One youth was shot in the chest, another in the knee, a third was injured by shrapnel, and the fourth sustained shrapnel wounds to the head.
WAFA correspondent reported that several Israeli military patrols stormed Nablus, raiding the Aqaba neighborhood in the Old City. Israeli forces were also deployed in large numbers around the Ras al-Ain neighborhood, inside Khan al-Tujjar (Merchants' Khan) in the Old City, and around Martyrs' Square and the Fatimiyah School. Confrontations erupted in the area, with heavy gunfire, tear gas, and stun grenades being fired.
