JENIN, December 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli special forces stormed the eastern neighborhood of Jenin city at dawn on Wednesday.

Local sources said that Israeli special forces, followed by military reinforcements from the Jalameh checkpoint, stormed the eastern neighborhood, raided a house, and turned it into a military post, while surrounding another house.

The sources added that the occupation forces are conducting a widespread arrest campaign among the residents and interrogating them.

Meanwhile, the Jenin Education Directorate decided to postpone the start of classes today, Wednesday, in government and private schools and kindergartens until 9:00 AM in order to ensure the safety of students.
