RAMALLAH, December 17, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said partly cloudy skies for Wednesday, with a drop in temperatures. The weather will be cold, especially in the mountainous areas, with scattered showers expected in some areas, particularly in the south, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms at times until midday. Winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, moderate in speed, occasionally becoming brisk. Sea waves will be moderately rough.
During the evening and night, the weather will be partly cloudy to generally clear and cold. Winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, moderate in speed. Sea waves will be moderately rough.
Thursday will be generally clear with a rise in temperatures, remaining cold, especially in the mountainous areas. Winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, occasionally becoming brisk. Sea waves will be moderately rough.
Friday: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with little change in temperatures, remaining cold, especially in mountainous areas. Winds will be light to moderate from the northwest to west. Sea waves will be low.
Saturday: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a rise in temperatures, remaining cold, especially in mountainous areas. Winds will be light to moderate from the northwest. Sea waves will be low.
The PMD warned of the risk of flash floods and flooding in valleys and low-lying areas, particularly in the south and east, as the country is affected by the low-pressure system. Other warnings included slippery roads, reduced horizontal visibility, and a drop in temperatures.
