GAZA, December 16, 2025 (WAFA) – Local sources reported that a number of people were injured on Tuesday when a house collapsed on its residents due to a storm near the Hamid Junction in northwest Gaza City.
The sources explained that the house belonged to the al-Husari family and was located near the Hamid Junction on al-Shifa Street. They noted that the house had previously been damaged by Israeli bombing, which led to its collapse on its residents as the weather intensified.
They added that rescue teams rushed to the scene and began rescuing the injured and providing them with first aid, amid fears that there might be additional casualties under the rubble.
This incident comes amidst the dire humanitarian conditions faced by residents of the Gaza Strip, exacerbated by the storms and the damage to thousands of homes caused by the Israeli aggression.
