BEIRUT, December 14, 2025 (WAFA) – Three Lebanese citizens were killed and another was wounded on Sunday in separate Israeli airstrikes targeting several areas in southern Lebanon.
Two citizens were martyred in two separate raids. The first targeted a motorcycle in the town of Yater, Bint Jbeil district, resulting in the killing of one citizen and the wounding of another. The second raid targeted a car between the towns of Safad al-Batikh and Barashit, killing a second person.
Additionally, a member of the municipal council in the town of Jouaya, Tyre district, was killed in an Israeli raid targeting the town, bringing the death toll for the day to three, according to available information.
Meanwhile, an Israeli drone dropped bombs on two excavators in the town of Shebaa in southern Lebanon this morning, while the occupation forces targeted the Bastra farm with machine gun fire from their position in Ramtha.
Local sources said that an Israeli drone dropped explosive devices on a house on the southern outskirts of the town of Aitaroun, in southern Lebanon.
They also said that Israeli artillery targeted the Shannouh farm and Wadi Elias on the outskirts of the town of Halta, which is part of the Kfarshouba municipality in the Nabatieh Governorate of southern Lebanon.
This comes as Israeli occupation forces intensified their reconnaissance flights over the Tyre region throughout the night and into the morning, particularly over the town of Yanouh, according to the National News Agency.
The agency indicated that a Lebanese army force remains stationed around the house that was threatened by Israel yesterday, while security forces have established checkpoints at the town's entrances.
Earlier this morning, the agency reported that Israeli drones were flying at very low altitudes over villages in the Zahrani region, as part of intensified aerial activity in several areas of southern Lebanon.
