PM Mustafa affirms continued efforts to support community during visit to Tubas

TUBAS, December 11, 2025 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa reaffirmed today that the government—under the directives of President Mahmoud Abbas—continues its efforts to strengthen the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and address their needs, despite the difficult circumstances the country is experiencing.

His remarks came during a visit to Tubas, where he met with Governor Ahmad Al-As'ad, institutions, community leaders, and residents of the governorate, accompanied by several ministers, to review the situation in Tubas following the recent Israeli offensive in the area.

The Prime Minister stated, “What [Tubas] is suffering today is not new but part of ongoing Israeli plans to seize additional areas of land and appropriate resources, depriving our people of their rights and livelihood. But with our collective efforts, these plans will fail just as previous attempts did.”

He also listened to interventions from the governor, representatives of local institutions, and community leaders regarding the challenges caused by Israeli plans and the escalating violence of Israeli settlers.

Ministers accompanying the Prime Minister presented updates on government projects underway to develop infrastructure, including roads, water and electricity services, support for the agricultural sector, and development initiatives in the health and education sectors.

The Prime Minister also met with heads of the security institutions in the governorate, in the presence of the Governor and Minister of Interior Major General Ziad Hab Al-Reeh, where he was briefed on the security situation in light of escalating attacks by the Israeli occupation and the increasing violence of Israeli settlers.
