GAZA, December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – Several civilians were injured today in an Israeli shelling that targeted a house in the al-Bassa area, west of Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.
Although a ceasefire in Gaza went into effect on October 11, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has continued to rise, reaching 70,365, mostly women and children, since the beginning of the onset of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 171,058 others have also been injured.
This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.
