QALQILYA, December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth has died from wounds he sustained from Israeli gunfire in the northern occupied West Bank city of Qalqilya.
The General Authority for Civil Affairs confirmed that Baraa Bilal Issa Qablan, 21, has succumbed to wounds he sustained yesterday when he was shot by Israeli forces east of Qalqilya.
His body was also seized by Israeli forces.
Israeli forces stationed at the main (northern) entrance to the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, opened fire on a vehicle traveling along the Qalqilya-Nablus road.
This resulted in the killing of Momen Nidal Abu Riyash, 19, a resident of Qalqilya, while Qablan was seriously injured and detained.
Another young man identified as Muhammad Saeed Taha Hussein, was also detained.
