JORDAN VALLEY, December 7, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonists today continued to bulldoze and plow agricultural lands in various areas of the northern Jordan Valley, according to local sources.
Sources reported that colonists plowed land in the al-Joubiya area and planted it with rain-fed crops. Over the past weeks, colonists have continued to plow and level dozens of dunums of Palestinian residents’ lands.
A report issued by B’Tselem, the Israeli Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories, detailed how Israel is increasing its efforts to drive dozens of Palestinian shepherding communities in the northern Jordan Valley out of their homes and lands.
“Through cooperation and collaboration among the military, police, settlers and the Jordan Valley Regional Council, Israel has reduced the pastureland available to Palestinians, blocked regular water supply and taken measures to isolate the Jordan Valley from the rest of the West Bank,” said the center.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.
The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned.
Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
