GAZA, December 6, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian woman and her son were killed on Saturday evening by Israeli army fire in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, raising the number of Palestinians killed in Gaza since morning to eight. One of the earlier victims had succumbed to previous injuries.
WAFA correspondent reported that the two were transferred to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in the city.
Local health authorities reported that eight Palestinians were killed in Gaza since Saturday morning, including two in Beit Lahiya, one in Jabalia, and the two in Al-Zaytoun. In addition, one man died from earlier injuries, and the bodies of two others were retrieved.
Local sources added that Israeli forces also demolished several buildings and structures in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
Since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza in October 2023, at least 70,354 Palestinians have been killed, mostly women and children, while the number of injured has risen to 171,030. Many victims remain trapped under rubble, with rescue teams unable to reach them.
Since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, a total of 367 Palestinians have been killed and 953 injured by Israeli attacks, with 624 bodies recovered.
