NABLUS, December 4, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian infant suffered from suffocation on Friday after inhaling teargas fired by Israeli forces during their military incursion on the village of Madma, south of Nablus.
The director of the Emergency and Ambulance Center at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Nablus, Amjad Ahmad, said that ambulance crews treated a 20-day-old infant for sever gas inhalation and transferred him to the hospital for medical treatment.
For his part, the head of the Madma village council, Abdullah Ziada, confirmed that Israeli forces stormed the village amidst heavy firing of tear gas at residents' homes, causing several people to suffer from suffocation.
He added that shop owners in the village center were forced to close their businesses.
