HEBRON, December 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Friday evening detained a Palestinian from the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron, according to a local activist.
Osama Makhamra said that the occupation forces rounded up a Palestinian from the governorate.
Meanwhile, local activists said that the occupation forces barged their way into the al-Bireh city neighborhood of Jabal at-Tawil, and fired barrages of live ammunition, tear gas, and concussion grenades.
In Ramallah governorate, heavily-armed Israeli infantry soldiers stormed Kafr Malik village, and fired volleys of concussion and tear gas canisters.
No casualties were reported.
Israeli occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for "wanted" Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
These raids, which also take place in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.
Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
