BETHLEHEM, December 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, began plowing and cultivating land today in the Khalayel al-Lawz area, southeast of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, according to local sources.
Ibrahim Sweis, a local resident, told WAFA that a group of colonists had stormed the land of Palestinian citizens in the area, close to residents' homes. The colonists used a tractor to plow and plant crops on land belonging to Ibrahim Abed Abayat, a local Palestinian, and other members of the Rayan family.
The Khalayel al-Lawz area has been facing ongoing attacks and incursions by Israeli forces and colonists for some time now. The most recent incident involved colonists firing live ammunition at local homes, assaulting a woman and leaving others with bruises and wounds.
