JERICHO, December 4, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian and international solidarity activists in the Bedouin village of Shalal al-Auja, north of Jericho, early Thursday morning.
Hassan Mleihat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baydar human rights organization, told WAFA that dozens of colonists from illegal outposts surrounding Shalal al-Auja stormed the village and attacked international solidarity activists who were present to protect Palestinian residents.
He noted that the activists and unarmed villagers confronted the colonists and forced them to flee.
Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley have been subjected to systematic attacks by colonists, which have escalated significantly recently, targeting both the residents and the international peace activists who support them.
