GAZA, December 3, 2025 (WAFA) – At least five Palestinians were killed and others injured on Wednesday evening in Israeli air, artillery, and drone strikes, as well as fire from tanks and military vehicles, targeting southern and eastern Gaza.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes launched a series of strikes on displaced people's tents in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis governorate in southern Gaza, killing five, including two children, and injuring dozens of others.

The attacks in Al-Mawasi caused several tents to catch fire, worsening the plight of families who had sought refuge in the area for safety.

Medical sources at the Kuwait Field Hospital said their teams recovered five bodies from the Al-Najah camp for displaced persons in Al-Mawasi, noting that the victims were severely burned.

Simultaneous strikes were reported in the western part of Khan Younis, while Israeli military vehicles fired toward areas east of the city amid intensive warplane activity.

In Gaza City, Israeli drones opened fire near the Shujaiya junction east of the city, causing panic among residents and displaced persons in the area.

Earlier on Wednesday morning, two Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City and were transferred to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital.

Medical sources reported that the total number of Palestinians killed in Gaza since the start of the Israeli aggression in October 2023 has reached 70,117, the majority of whom are children and women.

The same sources said the number of injured has risen to 170,999, with many victims still trapped under rubble, inaccessible to rescue and civil defense teams.
