TULKARM, November 29, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today burned a home in Nour Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarm, as the army's siege on the camp continues for the 294th consecutive day.
Eyewitnesses told WAFA that Israeli soldiers continue to seize homes inside the camp and turn them into military posts, leaving behind widespread destruction to houses and property, including full and partial demolitions, as well as the systematic wrecking of water networks, electricity lines, and basic infrastructure.
Head of the Popular Services Committee of Nour Shams camp, Nehad al-Shawish, said Israeli forces are now carving new roads over the rubble of demolished homes in the camp, with no regard for underground water and electricity lines. He warned that this poses a direct threat to what remains of life-sustaining infrastructure in the camp.
Al-Shawish added that Israel aims to establish roads that serve the movement of its military vehicles inside the camp and impose them as a de facto reality, in clear disregard for the rights of residents and the additional humanitarian and service-related risks these measures impose.
