JERUSALEM, November 29, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained 12 young Palestinian men on Saturday from the Ma'azi Jaba community near the town of Jaba, located northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

The Al-Biader Human Rights Organization said that the Israeli occupation army carried out a wide-scale detention campaign in the area following tensions sparked by attempts of settler groups to storm the community.

The organization explained that occupation forces raided the community suddenly, conducting house searches before detaining the youths, while residents continue to face ongoing pressures and repeated raids targeting their presence in the area.

Al-Biader confirmed that the detentions are part of a dangerous Israeli escalation against Bedouin communities surrounding Jerusalem, calling for urgent intervention to protect residents and ensure the immediate release of those detained.
