Israeli forces continue demolitions of homes in Jenin refugee camp

JENIN, November 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces have continued demolishing Palestinian citizens’ homes in the Jenin refugee camp since the early morning hours on Friday.

WAFA correspondent said Israeli bulldozers began demolishing 24 homes in the Abdullah Azzam neighborhood west of the camp, including 12 houses slated for complete demolition.

In Burqin, west of Jenin, residents reported hearing explosions and live gunfire from the occupation army on the western outskirts of the town, with the reasons still unknown.

Earlier, Israeli forces stormed the town of Meithalun, south of Jenin, and deployed an infantry unit through its streets, with no raids or detentions reported.

In Al-Yamun town to the west, Israeli forces detained a Palestinian resident from inside a commercial shop after assaulting him, before later releasing him.

Since January 21, Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression on Jenin city, its camp, and towns and villages across the governorate, resulting in the killing of 58 Palestinian citizens and the wounding of more than 200 others.

The occupation has also completely demolished more than 600 homes in the camp, forcing the displacement of 22,000 residents to towns and villages across the governorate and several neighborhoods in the city.
