RAMALLAH, November 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Friday evening stormed the village of Burqa and the town of Surda in the Ramallah governorate.
Local sources said that an Israeli army unit broke into Burqa and fired live bullets and sound bombs amid Palestinian citizens’ homes.
In a separate development, another occupation force stormed Surda, northeast of Ramallah, erected a military checkpoint on the main road near a shopping center, stopped Palestinian citizens’ vehicles, and checked their identity cards.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers seized the keys of three vehicles at the military checkpoint set up at the entrance to the town of Attara, north of Ramallah. Eyewitnesses said traffic came to a standstill in the Attara bridge area after the soldiers took the keys and left the three vehicles in the middle of the road.
