Israeli forces continue raids, assaults on homes south of Tubas

TUBAS, November 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces have persisted in storming Palestinian citizens’ homes in Al-Far'a refugee camp, south of Tubas, since dawn on Friday, in raids marked by assaults on residents, including beatings, and detentions.

Director of Ambulance and Emergency Services in Tubas, Nidhal Aouda, said that 15 residents were injured as a result of the beatings, eight of whom were transferred to the hospital. The remaining cases were treated at the scene.

Israeli forces also continued detaining several residents and questioning them on-site. Kamal Bani Aouda, director of the Prisoner’s Society in Tubas, said that the number of detainees detained from the camp since dawn has exceeded 20.

Israeli forces stormed the camp at dawn as the aggression on the Tubas governorate entered its third consecutive day, following two days of deployment around its outskirts. They also forced several residents to leave their homes and converted them into military outposts.

The occupation forces withdrew at dawn from the town of Tammoun, south of Tubas, leaving extensive damage to infrastructure and Palestinian citizens’ properties. They continue to be deployed in Tubas city, including the town of Aqaba and the village of Tayasir, where they have seized several homes and turned them into military outposts.

Bani Aouda added that occupation forces detained 162 residents over the past two days at field interrogation centers, releasing most of them in the morning, while placing eight others, including children, in detention, six of them from Tammoun, in addition to residents from Aqaba.
