HEBRON, November 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians suffered suffocation on Friday after Israeli forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at citizens who attempted to reach their agricultural lands in the town of Tarqumiya, west of Hebron.
According to WAFA correspondent, Israeli forces and armed colonists raided privately owned farmland and prevented farmers from accessing their fields. They fired stun grenades and toxic tear gas, causing dozens of local residents to suffer breathing difficulties after inhaling the gas. Those who suffocated were treated on site.
Israeli forces also dispersed a peaceful gathering organized by land and home owners near Tarqumiya, forcibly removing residents and foreign activists from the location.
