Israeli forces forcibly displace two Bedouin families north of Jericho

JERICHO, November 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Thursday evening forced two Palestinian Bedouin families from the Al-Balqaa community, north of Jericho, to leave the area.

Hasan Mleihat, General Supervisor of the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces raided the community and forced the families of Suleiman Khaled Kaabneh and Khaled Suleiman Kaabneh to leave the area east of Al-Balqaa, north of Jericho.

Mleihat added that the two families had previously been displaced from the Furush Beit Dajan area, southeast of Nablus, on October 8, and are now being displaced once again.

He pointed out that Bedouin communities in Jericho and the Jordan Valley are facing intensified attacks by colonists, coupled with forced displacement by the occupation authorities and the seizure of large swathes of land.
