Israeli occupation issues military order to remove trees on 59 dunums northwest of Jenin

JENIN, November 25, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities issued a military order on Tuesday to remove a massive number of trees spanning 59 dunums in the village of Zabuba, located to the northwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission said the military order, numbered N.K/55/25, targets a significant layer of trees for removal and destruction under the pretext of military purposes, in a blatant attack on Palestinian agricultural lands.

The commission noted that Israel has intensified the issuance of such orders across Palestinian lands in recent months, citing security justifications and the protection of roads used by settlers.

It added that Israel’s continued targeting of Palestinian trees and crops demonstrates the ongoing implementation of apartheid and racial segregation policies, restricting the rights of Palestinian landowners while channeling all resources to benefit Israeli settlers.
