Israeli forces uproot dozens of olive trees in Beit Ur al-Fawqa, west of Ramallah

RAMALLAH, November 25, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces uprooted dozens of olive and forest trees on Tuesday in the village of Beit ‘Ur al-Fawqa, west of Ramallah, according to local sources.

Ali Samara, head of the village council, told WAFA that Israeli bulldozers uprooted the trees while leveling tens of dunums of land in the western area of the village, belonging to eight residents. The area is located near the military checkpoint at the village entrance.

Samara added that the occupation authorities notified residents of plans to level approximately 50 dunums in both the eastern and western areas of the village, most of which are planted with olive trees.
