JERICHO, November 24, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian driver was injured on Monday after being assaulted by Israeli colonists on the Ma'arajat road northwest of Jericho.
The driver, Abdul Rahman Atiyat, a resident of the town of Al-Auja north of Jericho, said that he was attacked by a group of colonists on the Ma'arajat road, which connects the Jericho and Ramallah governorates.
The attack left him with facial scratches and resulted in his eyeglasses being broken.
Atiyat urged drivers and residents to travel in groups of vehicles to avoid colonist attacks and ensure their safety.
