RAMALLAH, November 22, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained dozens of Palestinians on Saturday and subjected them to field interrogations after assaulting them in the Hebron governorate.
A media activist in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, told WAFA that Israeli soldiers stormed several neighborhoods in the town, raided and ransacked numerous homes, and detained more than 30 Palestinians for several hours in the yard of a brick factory near the home of the family of slain Palestinian Walid Sabarna in the Asida area.
The forces reportedly interrogated the detainees on the spot and assaulted them. They also damaged part of a local memorial for martyrs in the town.
Israeli troops also detained several Palestinians in the city of Hebron and subjected them to field interrogations, assaulting them.
The army further set up several military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron, its towns, villages and camps, and closed multiple main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks and earth barriers.
