HEBRON, November 20, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces, accompanied by a group of armed colonists, withheld several Palestinian farmers on Thursday and prevented them from accessing their lands south of Hebron.

Activist Osama Makhameh told WAFA that the occupation forces, accompanied by armed colonists, blocked the road for several farmers as they were heading to plow their land in the Huwara area, east of Yatta, and detained them, preventing them from reaching their fields.

Israeli army along with colonists have been escalating their attacks and repressive measures against Palestinian farmers, when they need to plow and prepare their land for planting seasonal crops. Preventing them from doing so exacerbates their suffering and threatens their livelihoods.
