Colonists attack Palestinian farmers, destroy olive trees in Salfit-area town

SALFIT, November 19, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked on Wednesday several Palestinian farmers and vandalized olive trees in the town of Deir Ballut, west of Salfit, according to local sources.

They said that colonists attacked farmers Nadeem Jabara Yousef, Sami and Munir Nimr Yousef in the Wadi al-Ain area south of the town, assaulting them, spraying them with pepper spray, stealing money from them, and destroying their agricultural equipment.

In a separate incident, dozens of colonists attacked farmers Qusay Abdullah and Khalil Musa in the Jabal al-Azraq area north of Deir Ballut, forcing them to leave their land and destroying olive trees belonging to farmer Amer Khalil Abdullah.

Colonists carried out 766 attacks during the month of October, concentrated in the governorates of Ramallah, al-Bireh, Nablus, and Hebron, resulting in the uprooting, damage, and poisoning of 1,200 olive trees, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
