Israeli forces raid homes of two slain Palestinians north of Hebron

HEBRON, November 18, 2025 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians suffocated from tear gas fired by Israeli forces this evening during a military incursion into the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, according to a local activist.

Media activist Mohammad Awwad said that several Palestinian residents suffocated by tear gas fired by Israeli forces during a raid on the home of slain Palestinian, Waleed Mohammad Khalil Sabarneh, 18, in the Jabal Ammar area. Sabarneh was killed by Israeli soldiers earlier today, north of Hebron.

The soldiers damaged the home’s furniture and belongings before detaining his parents for interrogation and confiscating all mobile phones belonging to the family.

Confrontations broke out in the area, during which soldiers fired rubber-coated rounds, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters, resulting in further cases of tear gas inhalation. The forces also prevented worshippers from leaving the Beit Ummar Grand Mosque after the evening and night prayers.

Israeli forces also stormed the home of Imran Al-Atrash, 18, who was killed alongside Sabarneh, in the Wadi Al-Hariyya area of Hebron, detaining several family members and subjecting them to field interrogation.
