Colonists gather near Bethlehem-area town, raising concern over possible attacks

BETHLEHEM, 17 November 2025 (WAFA) - Colonists gathered today near the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem, according to security sources.

Sources told WAFA that colonists gathered at the western Tuqu’ roundabout, sparking concerns over potential attacks against Palestinian citizens and their vehicles.

Earlier today, the occupation forces closed the western Tuqu’ roundabout for several hours, leading to significant traffic congestion.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.

The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned.

Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
