Injuries reported as colonists torch house and two vehicles in attack on Hebron-area town

HEBRON, 17 November 2025 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians were injured and a house and two vehicles were set on fire this evening in an attack carried out by colonists, under the protection of the occupation forces, on the town of Sa’ir northeast of Hebron.

The house owner, Issa Shallaldeh, told WAFA that a group of colonists attacked his family’s homes in the Wad Sa’ir area, setting fire to his son’s house and two family vehicles.

He added that the colonists assaulted residents with batons and sharp tools, causing several women to suffer bruises and inflicting extensive damage to property.

Eyewitnesses said that the occupation forces prevented ambulance and fire crews from reaching the Wad Sa’ir area.

According to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, a total of 2,350 attacks were recorded in October, with 1,584 carried out by the occupation army and 766 by colonists.

The highest number of attacks was recorded in Ramallah and Al-Bireh with 542 attacks, while Nablus saw 412 and Hebron registered 401.

These attacks included direct physical assaults, the uprooting of trees, torching of fields, blocking olive harvesters from reaching their lands, seizing property, and demolishing homes and agricultural facilities.
