JERUSALEMA, November 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces erected military checkpoints today in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and the town of Silwan in occupied East Jerusalem.
Local sources indicated that the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the al-Rababa neighborhood of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and detained two young men and searched several vehicles at the checkpoint. Meanwhile, occupation soldiers erected another checkpoint in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, stopping and searching vehicles and obstructing the movement of Palestinian residents.
