Palestinian killed in Israeli airstrike targeting civilians east of Gaza City

GAZA, November 16, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was killed Sunday evening when Israeli warplanes bombed a group of civilians east of Gaza City.

Medical sources said that a Palestinian man was killed and several others were wounded when Israeli warplanes bombed a group of civilians in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood of the Tuffah district, northeast of Gaza City.

Since this morning, the Israeli army has been carrying out a demolition operation north of Rafah, coinciding with heavy gunfire from Israeli helicopters east of Khan Younis, in continued violation of the ceasefire agreement.

The death toll since the ceasefire agreement of October 11 has reached 266, with 635 wounded and 548 bodies recovered.

The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 69,483, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on October 7, 2023.

The number of injuries has risen to 170,706, while a number of victims are still under the rubble, and ambulance and rescue teams are unable to reach them.
