GAZA, November 16, 2025 (WAFA) – The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 69,483, the majority of whom are women and children, since the Israeli occupation's assault began on October 7, 2023, medical sources reported on Sunday.

Local health authorities explained that the number of individuals injured has reached 170,706, with many victims still trapped under rubble, as rescue teams are unable to access them due to the fact that many of them are in high-risk areas.

In the last 72 hours, Gaza's hospitals have received the bodies of 17 individuals: two new victims and 15 bodies retrieved from the rubble, as well as three additional injuries.

Since the ceasefire agreement was reached on October 11, 2025, the number of casualties has risen to 266 victims and 635 injuries, with 548 bodies recovered.
